In early 2024, I had the opportunity to work with local builder, Cody Blackburn. Our mutual interest in low cost housing options, led to a discussion about affordability and first-time home buyers. Out of these meetings came the design of two simple homes using modest materials. My aim is to design modern yet accessible homes that engage in conversation with the storied design history of Columbus, Indiana.
