M. Arch Project 2022
Illuminurture was conceived and designed as a public art plaza with the purpose of illuminating and nurturing the emerging artists of a mid-sized city. Conceptualized with graphite, then drafted with pencil, and finally constructed with foam-core and wooden dowels.
Brief: Design an art gallery that is illuminated only by sunlight and has sectional changes of no more than 20ft within the site. Design spaces for small, medium, and large art that are semi-protected from the weather, and provide space for both sculpture and a large graffiti wall.
